1. Can there indeed be ‘that which has no opposite and is devoid of all characteristics’? The only singulative is this physical universe itself ... and this universe is chock-full of attributes.

2. The infinitude of this physical universe, being all that there is, has no opposite ... and that which has no beginning or end is perfect.

3. You are asking a logical question and insisting on a logical answer. As all logic is based upon opposites, it is a ‘problem’ that logic cannot solve. What it goes to serve is to show that logic is limited. The universe, being unlimited in both space and time, has no opposite.
